States Representatives

GISST States Representatives

The States Representatives are  active members of any State, actively participating in the various activities of the organization (Regular presence at general meetings, regular payment of dues, attendance or other social activities).

Naby Bangoura, Tennessee

Naby Bangoura is serving as the 2nd State Representative of the State of Tennessee. Naby Bangoura joined the GISST in 2021 where he managed to raise for about $3,500 for his first year as State Representative for Tennessee’s team. He is also a founding member of Tennessee’s Soccer Federation. 

Abdoul Karim Diallo, Alabama

Abdoul Karim lives in Alabama since 2001 and first joined the GISST in 2019. Abdoul Karim is married with 6 kids. 

Abdoul Karim is currently serving as the 1st State Representative of the State of Alabama. 

Ibrahima Tounkara, Indiana

Ibrahima Tounkara known as Fiston first joined the GISST in 2010 as player and captain of the Indianapolis team. Ibrahima Tounkara is married with 2 daughters. Ibrahima Tounkara is also as State Representative of the State of Indianapolis.  

Aly Magassouba, Ohio

Aly Magassouba is also known as “Al de Paris” for most of the people first joined the GISST in 2015 as assistant coach of the Ohio’s team. Since 2017 Aly Magassouba is serving as the 1st State Representative of Ohio. He then later in 2021 became coach of the Ohio’s team. 

Mamadou Djan Diallo, Connecticut

Mamadou Djan Diallo is currently serving as the President of the Connecticut. He joined the GISST in 2022 and also serving as State Representative of the State of Connecticut. 

Mohamed Samoura, Pennsylvania

Mohamed Samoura first joined the GISST and served as player from 2005 to 2009. He then later served as State Representative from 2010 to now of the State of Philadelphia. Mohamed Samoura is married and have 1 daughter.  

Elhadj Bah, Georgia

Elhadj Bah first joined the GISST since the first edition in 2004 at Atlanta. He then, serve in the executive board as Secretary of Communication from 2011 to 2015. Since 2017, Elhadj Bah is serving as State Representative of the State Georgia, Atlanta up to now. Elhadj Bah also was involved in the very successful editions of 2013, 2016, and 2021 at Atlanta, Georgia.

Saidou Barry, New York 

Saidou Barry first joined the GISST since 2014 and served as player of Sily New York. Years later, he then became New York team’s manager. From 20148, Saidou is serving as State Representative of the State of New York to now. In addition to State Representative, Saidou is also serving as the President of Sily New York. Under his management, Sily of New York have won two times back-to-back the Guinean Inter State Soccer from 2019 to 2022.

Mohamed Kaba, DMV 

Mohamed Kaba also known as Tape first joined the GISST since 2005. He is the first elected President of G.I.S.S.T. in 2008. He served 3 good years as President of G.I.S.S.T from 2008 to 2011.  Years later after his presidency, he then became State Representative of the State of New York for many years before moving to DC area. Mohamed Kaba was involved in organizing the very successful edition in 2015at Washington DC. Mohamed Kaba is also the founding member of Washington DC Federation which he is still a key member. He’s currently serving as the State Representative of the DMV area. Mohamed Kaba is an accomplished community leader, and he enjoys using his skills to contribute to the progress of this organization. He also uses his positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to join this organization.

Momo Toure, Minnesota 

Momo Toure is currently serving as the treasurer of the GISST since 2020.  Momo first joined the GISST in 2006 and served as player of Minnesota’s team from 2006 to Now. From 2014, Momo served as State Representative of the State of Minnesota to now. Momo is one of the veteran players of this tournament with about 15 years of participation. 

Amadou Bah, Texas 

Amadou Bah is currently serving as the State Representative of the State of Texas. Amadou Bah first joined the GISST in 2012 as fan of this organization. In 2016, he was appointed by the Guinean Community of Texas to serve as State Representative of the State of Texas up to now. In the same year, Amadou Bah was nominated as one the supporters with the award trophy in Atlanta. Amadou bah is very passionate and dedicate to work with the State Representatives to help enhance the talent of young Guineans in the United States.  

Kemo Kaba, Michigan

Kemo Kaba also known as Shebala first joined the GISST since 2006. He then served coach of Michigan from 2009 to 2011 where he helped the team reached to the final. Kemo Kaba was involved in organizing the very successful edition in 2008 at Michigan. He’s currently serving as the State Representative of the state of Michigan since 2011.

Abdoulaye Kouyate, Massachusetts 

Abdoulaye Kouyate also known as Okamio first joined the GISST in 2005 as fan of Ohio, Columbus’s team. Abdoulaye Kouyate (Okamio) is the founder of Boston, Massachusetts’s team in 2006 and served as manager and coach. He played from 2006 to 2010 for Boston, Massachusetts’s team. Abdoulaye Kouyate (Okamio) served as the Coordinator and Information Officer of the first board executive in 2008. He hosted the G.I.S.S.T. in 2011 in Boston, Massachusetts with a great record of participation of teams and States. Okamio is currently serving as the State Representative and Manager of the State of Boston. Okamio is the founder of veteran game of this tournament. 

Mouctar Camara, New Jersey 

Mouctar Camara first joined the GISST in 2006 at Washington D.C and served as team’s President from 2006 to Now. Mouctar Camara served as State Representative of the State of New Jersey from 2010 to now. Mouctar Camara is one of the veteran players of this tournament with about 16 years of participation. 

Morciré Sylla, Guinean youth

Morciré Sylla known as Moe is the lead representative of the Guinean youth in the state of Washington. Moe’s passion, dedication and commitment to the Guinean community in Seattle WA is what brought the GISST to his attention in 2021 and, has since vowed with determination to have his State be part of the GISST for the common interests of the Guinean communities living within and out of the states.

Mamadi Cisse, California
